What if behind every invention, every great book and every leap in knowledge lay one common influence? An influence so great it coined phrases, created ideas and bought new ways of thinking into our world.

The Lost Impossimals is a secret history, a Natural Twistory, if you will, based around a collection of paintings by the explorer Charles Burroughs. Charles tracked down some of the most elusive creatures on the planet in his quest to amass the largest collection of Impossimal paintings before they became extinct, these paintings went on to tour the Empire as part of the Impossisaurus Britannicas collection. Seen by millions they were said to have been the influence of many, a claim that has remained unfounded until now. As each new painting is researched we are now understanding more about our history than ever before, from party food to ice cubes from biscuits to pipes read for the very first time the natural twistory of our history.

Recent evidence suggests that Charles though was not the first or indeed the last person to catalogue these fascinating creatures, the discovery of a mysterious symbol embedded in several of his paintings points towards the possibility that Charles may have indeed been part of a secret society spanning a thousand years...
